The starting point is to write down anything you think you want to do or achieve, no matter how trivial it may seem to others. Include dreams you had as a child that still matter to you. Also write down anything you hear that resonates with you—any idea at all. Adding something to your list does not commit you to it; it is simply something that interests you now or once did in the past.

When you begin your list, keep it private or share it only with someone you trust. Do not discuss it with people who may try to manipulate you or tell you that your ideas are unrealistic. This list is strictly personal. Do not show it to dream-breakers, and do not allow your direction to be defined by others’ opinions.
