Redefine Money to Your Advantage – Excerpt from the book Live with Abundance Without Selling Your Soul
REDEFINE MONEY TO YOUR ADVANTAGE
You were taught that “money is the root of all evil.” Money is not the root of all evil—fear is. When fear is connected to money, then money becomes a tool of harm. But when trust, mutual support, and generosity are connected to money, then it becomes a source of good. My friend Charley Thweatt once wrote a clever song that begins with the line: “Why do I feel strange when we talk about money and communication breaks down?” You may be having a pleasant conversation with a friend, partner, or colleague—until the topic of money comes up. Suddenly, tension rises, defenses appear, and communication shifts. There is nothing inherently stressful about money. Like everything else, it is neutral—we simply project our beliefs onto it. If you feel tense around money, you may be holding limiting beliefs that can be changed. When you begin to shift these beliefs, your concerns about money stop being burdens and instead become golden arrows guiding you toward transformation—clearing illusions and revealing deeper truths. In our culture, money is often seen as something to fight over. It is one of the most common sources of conflict in relationships. But where did you learn to associate money with struggle? Perhaps from your family, your upbringing, or past experiences. These associations are learned—not innate. You were not born with negative beliefs about money. Your true core lies beyond conditioning. At your deepest level, you are connected to a source of love, abundance, and generosity. The journey toward prosperity is not about reaching something external—it is a return to your true self. To begin reclaiming the wealth that is naturally yours, redefine money as a channel and expression of positive energy. When you give money, you give life. When you receive money, you receive love. As money flows, well-being circulates and multiplies. Money is a healthy and meaningful resource that brings joy when shared. The negative mind sees money negatively, while a loving mind sees love within it. Money lives more in your thoughts than in your bank account. That is why every change in your world begins in your mind.Every euro I spend enriches the economy,
blesses everyone it touches,
and returns to me multiplied.
